Welcome to Utica Community Schools!

Parents register at their home school
New parents are invited to register at the school their child will attend. It is recommended to contact the school to register their child. A link to all schools is available at this 
link
. Phone numbers are listed at the bottom of each school website.  If you are not sure which school your child will attend, please view our attendance area maps or call the Pupil Services Department at 586-797-1120.

欧洲杯在线投注Children who will be five years old on or before September 1 of a school year and live within the Utica Community Schools are eligible to attend kindergarten.  (Please note - children who will turn five between September 1 and December 1 may enroll in kindergarten if parents complete a waiver included in the Kindergarten Registration packet.)  All children must be registered for school by their sixth birthday.

Elementary Registration will re-open in August (date tbd)
欧洲杯在线投注UCS elementary schools are excited to welcome new families to our community for the next school year.  Office staff at our elementary schools will be available to  accept registrations starting in August (date tbd).

Secondary Registration will re-open in August (date tbd)<
New families with secondary students (grades 7 through 12) can call their new school directly in August (date tbd) to make an appointment for registration. 

Macomb Infant Preschool Program (MIPP) parents will drop off their documents at Plumbrook (south) or Duncan (north).  The hours and days will also be in August (date tbd)

When you register at the school building, please bring the following documents:
  • Child's birth certificate
  • Michigan driver's license, Michigan ID or appropriate employment picture ID
  • Lease agreement, closing papers or property tax bill
  • Most recent report card to assist with grade and class assignment (school officials will request transcripts from your child's previous school) and...
  • Immunization records detailing the day, month and year your child was vaccinated against measles, rubella, diphtheria, tetanus, polio, hepatitis B and other serious illnesses. If you need information on immunizations waivers, contact the Macomb County Health Department at (586) 466-6840.
UCS is committed to the health and safety of everyone. Please use the following process when registering:
  • Please stay home if you are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19.
  • Only a parent/guardian will be permitted to bring registration information.  If a parent needs an interpreter, he/she can bring another adult with them.
  • Please wear facial covering upon walking up to the building and entering the building.
  • If you arrive at the same time as another parent,  please follow social distancing and stand six feet apart from others.
  • Parents need to provide ID before they will be allowed to enter the building.
  • Please see below for paperwork that is necessary to register your student. In addition to the original documentation, please provide a copy to minimize the amount of paperwork to be handled.
  • Once registration is complete, we are asking parents to exit the building.

Schools of Choice Applications

Please take advantage of all available opportunities to keep lines of communication open. Attend Fall Open House and Parent-Teacher Conferences. Read the building newsletter and school web site for building-level updates. Consider joining the PTO or Booster Club to support building activities. You'll be glad you did!
